Organic Ground Chicken Chilli    OJO (MISSING NUTRITIONAL KEYS)

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE IT:

• 1 tsp. coconut oil
• 1 onion, chopped
• 8 garlic cloves, crushed or organic garlic powder 1 tablespoon
• 2 chili’s, deseeded and chopped
• 1 tsp. ground cumin
• 1 tsp. ground coriander
• 1 tsp. paprika
• pinch cayenne pepper
• 14 oz. (400g)  canned tomatoes
• 1 tbsp. tomato puree
• 2 Tomatoes
• 6 Stalks of Celery
• 1 Lb of organic ground chicken
• 7 oz. (200g) canned peas, drained • chopped parsley, to serve


WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

  1. Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan and cook the onions gently over low heat for 6-8 minutes, until softened and golden. Add the mince and fry for 5-6 minutes.
  2. Next add the garlic, chilies, and all the spices and continue frying, for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the tomatoes, tomato purée, and stock and bring to the boil.
  4. Add ground chicken and stir to prevent it from clumping.
  5. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 15 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper and add the peas. Heat through for about 5 minutes and serve scattered with parsley with a side of rice or a jacket potato. Enjoy it!
